Hello! I am a proud native Arizonan. Growing up in the funky hills of Jerome, I have always had a strong connection to my community. When I found myself working here at Skyview School, I felt that I had finally found my "School Community". With 11 years of teaching experience, holding a Masters in Language, Literacy & Culture and an AZ K-8 license, I happily joined Skyview first as an aide, then teaching in the Intermediate 5-6, and now have found my home teaching in the Kindergarten.
I have a deep love for learning through doing. Whether it's foreign languages, the art of cooking, poetry and song or the wonders of our past, I become immersed in my own knowledge as our students delve into their learning. I am grounded in a classroom philosophy of respect and responsibility. I feel that as teacher and guide, it is my duty to prepare students to not only achieve greatness academically, but to work towards becoming stewards of our community, locally and beyond. With two daughters of my own, I am passionate about raising children under the idea that "it takes a village to raise a child." I am grateful and honored to be able to share the amazing experiences of Skyview with my students and classroom family! |

Hello everyone!
My journey at Skyview School began in 2020 when I joined as a Kindergarten Paraprofessional. From the start, I felt an instant connection with the vibrant community at Skyview, and the incredible Kindergarten team became like a second family to me. Their unwavering love, support, and guidance have helped me to take the next step in my career as I embark on my first year as a Kindergarten teacher. As a proud mom to an adventurous two-year-old son, I understand the significance of nurturing a child's innate curiosity and instilling a love for learning from an early age. At the core of my teaching philosophy lies the firm belief that every child is unique, and it is my mission to help them foster their individuality while nurturing empathy and kindness towards others. I am dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive environment where children can discover themselves and flourish within our close-knit classroom family. I am truly grateful to call Skyview my home, and I look forward to making a lasting impact on the lives of my students as we embark on a joyous journey of growth and learning together! |

Hello, my name is Mary Hanna.
I have had the honor of being an aide in various classrooms for the last five years here at Skyview. I also have two daughters who attend Skyview school, one of whom will graduate this year. I was born and raised in Prescott and have seen Prescott grow and change throughout the many years. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors in various ways. I love to travel and experience new things. I absolutely adore animals and nature. I always enjoy a good book and am often reading or listening to an audio book. During the colder months you can find me knitting by the fire or doing a good puzzle. I find relaxation in being creative and making things with my hands. I like to be silly, have fun, and always love a good joke. One of my all time favorite things are hugs. |
