KINDERGARTEN

![]() Hello! I am a proud native Arizonan. Growing up in the funky hills of Jerome, I have always had a strong connection to my community. When I found myself working here at Skyview School, I felt that I had finally found my "School Community". With 11 years of teaching experience, holding a Masters in Language, Literacy & Culture and an AZ K-8 license, I happily joined Skyview first as an aide, then teaching in the Intermediate 5-6, and now have found my home teaching in the Kindergarten.
I have a deep love for learning through doing. Whether it's foreign languages, the art of cooking, poetry and song or the wonders of our past, I become immersed in my own knowledge as our students delve into their learning. I am grounded in a classroom philosophy of respect and responsibility. I feel that as teacher and guide, it is my duty to prepare students to not only achieve greatness academically, but to work towards becoming stewards of our community, locally and beyond. With two daughters of my own, I am passionate about raising children under the idea that "it takes a village to raise a child." I am grateful and honored to be able to share the amazing experiences of Skyview with my students and classroom family! |
