Hello, my name is Michelle Reordan! I am incredibly grateful to be a part of a community of teachers at Skyview who honor our students' learning and growth as a whole child.

I am a proud native Arizonan. I am blessed with two amazing boys who are the lights of my life, and constantly keep me on my toes! In my “spare time” I can be found garding, exploring nature with my kids, baking, and reading. I have a wide range of education starting with Equine Science, an AA in Early Childhood education, my BA in Elementary Education, and am working on my Master of Arts in History.

When I found myself working here at Skyview School, I felt that I had finally found my home. With 9 years of teaching experience, I joined Skyview first as an aide, completing my student teaching in the 2-3 level. Now I am so happy to be one of the 4-5 teachers.

I love witnessing learning through doing. Giving my students an opportunity to respond to material helps them construct their own meanings to learning. I believe my classroom presents a unique community of learners that varies not only in abilities, but also in learning styles. I will show children how to use the tools they already have, to cultivate their own gardens of knowledge in critical thinking. To accomplish this goal, I will teach to the needs of each child so that all learners can feel capable and successful. As a teacher, it is my job to be there to provide pathways for students to explore their own values, meanings, and choices. I believe the work teachers do in the classroom has a deep effect towards students becoming problem solvers and active members of society.

My name is Sharon and I am so excited to be part of the Skyview team.  I am a third generation Arizona native and was born and raised in Prescott, graduating from PHS in 1994. I’ve been married to my high-school sweetheart, Dee, since 1994.
I worked in hotel management for many years before having children and I earned a Bachelor in Business Management from Western Governors University in 2010, the same month I had my first child.  I quickly realized that being a full-time mother was my passion and happily left the hospitality world for baby-land, adding 3 more kids to our brood over the next 3 years.
My four children have been Skyview students since kindergarten and we feel so fortunate that we get to be part of this vibrant learning community.  It is an honor to join the staff and have the opportunity to work alongside such incredible teachers, aides, kids, and families every day.
When I’m not at Skyview you can find me shuttling kids all over town, reading, kayaking, or cuddling with my 3 dogs.
