Lindsay Pavelka, Board Member
I grew up in Minnesota, where my grandfather, a beloved high school English teacher, was one of my most important role models. My family imbued me with a love of learning and a deep appreciation for educators. I have a bachelor’s degree in music from Augsburg College, and worked for many years as a voice and theatre teacher and performer.
My favorite gig was acting in children's theatre productions, creating magic for kids every day! My husband's career brought us to Prescott ten years ago. During our first visit to the school, Skyview impressed us with the warmth of the community and the confidence that the kids exhibited. We knew we had found a school we wanted to call home, and we began our Skyview journey as a kindergarten family. Our sons are now entering 8th and 4th grade.
In my spare time, you can find me playing piano, gardening (lazily), lifting weights, traveling with my family, trying to get the Wordle in three guesses or fewer, and spending time in the woods with my dog.
