2020-2021 Student Application

Re-Enrollment
February 17 - March 5, 2020

  1. Returning students submit re-enrollment forms during the two-week re-enrollment period.  Placements are assigned to these students.
  2. Current students who fail to re-enroll during the re-enrollment timeline will be considered for enrollment as a NEW STUDENT and are no longer guaranteed a spot for the following year.  However, as current students at Skyview School, they are granted priority on their level's wait-list, if necessary.

 Open Enrollment
New Students Grades 1-8
March 23 - April 3, 2020

Mid-Year Enrollment

Siblings of enrolled students are legally given preference.
  1. Prospective families attend an orientation.
  2. Interested families who believe Skyview School is the best choice for their child and wish to be contributing members of our school community, complete and submit an application.
  3. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of openings, a lottery is held, spots are filled, and enrollment packets are mailed to families. Enrollment packets must be received within 10 business days or the spot is given to the next student on the wait-list.
  4. Those students who do not make the initial lottery are placed on a wait-list in order of their application-received date.
  5. Wait-listed families must respond within two working days upon receipt of an admissions offer to secure a place for their child.
Students may be admitted throughout the school year if placements are available.
  1. Families follow the procedures outlined  for Open Enrollment.
  2. If there is an opening during the school year, parents are sent a letter offering their child an available position at Skyview School.  Enrollment paperwork is sent and the parent is given 10 business days from the date of the letter to respond and complete all of the enrollment paperwork.  Failure to respond results in the withdrawal of the enrollment offer and the application becomes inactive.
  3. Any wait-lists for the current school year are reviewed and updated on a quarterly basis.
