For Valentine's Day: "What does LOVE mean to you?"
"Love is something you cannot touch or see but feel with your heart. It is a strong friendship that will never break. Love is something you care for enough not to leave. Love is something that flows in the world forever. Love will never break as long as it is true love. Examples of love are people you love: my brother, mom, dad, sister, and my dog. Moms hold onto your hand for a little while [but] your hearts forever." - Tate, age 10
"Love is when you get a big bear hug from your family or a kiss from your mom when you sprain your ankle, or when someone loves you so much they give you their cookie just to be nice. When someone changes their schedule just to do something with you? Of course! Because they would go through all that just to spend time with you. That means they really love you. For examples of love, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, my mom and dad, and last but not least, Olaf in Summer." - Duke, age 10
"Love is when you can make friends or make valentines. Love is if you make something for someone. Love is freedom and life. Love makes you feel like you are a winner. Love is like a big hug. Love is when you feel like your family is always by your side. Love is if Santa Claus came to town everyday. Love can come from the heart every day if you believe. Love is like a cup of ice cream. Love makes you feel alive. Love is like you won a race. Sometimes love is hard. The people I love the most are my teacher, my family, my friends, and Skyview School. I love my pets, too. The most beautiful thing will always come from the heart." - June, age 8
