Tasha has lived in Prescott since 1987. She attended Prescott Junior High, Prescott High School, and Yavapai College, where she received her Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Education. She has been an educator since 2010 and has been on staff as a teacher’s aide at Skyview School since 2015. She stepped into the role of Visual Arts Teacher in the 2024-2025 school year.
She has also taught community children’s art classes, been a storyteller at the Peregrine Book Store, and taught yoga to kids from age 4 to 70! Tasha has had her own multi-media art exhibited at Yavapai College. Since joining the arts department at Skyview, Tasha has enjoyed fixing up the art room and working with every grade level throughout the day. Tasha and her husband, Richard, have six kids, who are all grown and out of the house now. They spend their free time camping, hiking, kayaking, practicing yoga, and going on adventures around the amazing state of Arizona. |

Hi! My name is Ruby, and I am so excited to be back at Skyview as an art aide working with Ms. Tasha! I actually used to be a student here, so it feels really special to return and be part of the Skyview family again. I’ve always had a deep love for the arts and have been very involved in community theater over the years. I’m currently working on my Associate’s Degree in Performing Arts at Yavapai College, which has been such a great experience so far. When I’m not in school or at Skyview, I love spending time with my friends, being creative, or performing on stage. I’m so grateful to be here and can’t wait to make amazing memories with everyone!

Julie was born and raised in Prescott graduating from Prescott High School and went on to earn an Associates Degree in Interior Design in Chicago at Harrington College of Interior Design. After school she returned to Prescott and married her high school sweetheart.
She has worked many years in different capacities of architectural drafting and interior design. Julie has also worked and volunteered in childcare and student mentorship along the way. She’s been around Skyview for years with her niece and nephew and couldn’t wait to become an official part of the Skyview family when her son Declan started here in kindergarten. Julie is even more excited to get to be a part of the teaching team and get to enjoy a creative outlet. When she’s not at school she’s enjoying yoga, reading and designing. |
