Monday: STEAM in Space! 6-8th grades
Grade level(s): 6th-8th
Day of the week: Monday
STEAM in Space is an after school club for Middle Schoolers who are interested in learning about Space, the Engineering Design Process, the International Space Station projects, and NASA advancements. Together we will learn the Engineering Design Process (EDP) and use that method to build, modify, and test designs which are based on real-life space missions and ISS scenarios! It will be so fun to learn, build, and experiment together! All projects and models will be safely kept in Ms. Cooper’s classroom until the last day of the club (Monday, December 12th) at which time students may bring their projects home. We ask that each club member bring one unused 1 inch Binder with their name on the front, as well as 1 Wal-Mart gift card with any amount over $10 to pay for our project supplies. However, if you are not able to bring a gift card or bring your own binder, please come see Ms. Cooper and we will most definitely make arrangements!
