Wednesday - Origami Club - 3rd-6th Grades - 3:30-4:30
Club Leader: Ms. Lindsey
Come join the Origami club, to discover and develop your skills in origami! In this club, students will learn to create various three-dimensional objects from flat pieces of paper. We will start with the most basic folds, to give a good foundation for the rest of the year. As time goes on, we will continue to make anything you could imagine, including cats, dogs, butterflies, balloons, foxes, hearts, boxes, and many more. For each day of the club, we will start with some origami terminology to expand our knowledge of the medium, and then move on to make two or more different origami creations that the students can take home. Towards the end of the year, we will aim to make some bigger modular origami pieces that could potentially be displayed in the students' classrooms. It's going to be fun!
