Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, Skyview School, Inc. hereby states that all notices of Corporate Board Meetings will be posted in the lobby at 125 S Rush Street, Prescott, Arizona, 86303, and on this website. Our lobby is open to the public Monday through Thursday, 7:30-4:00 and Fridays, 8:00-3:00 (except legal holidays.) Such notices will indicate the date, time, and place of the meeting and will include an agenda or information concerning the manner in which the public may obtain an agenda for the meeting. All notices of the meetings for Skyview School Corporate Board and any of its committees and subcommittees will be posted on this website page, located below under Meeting Agendas.

Unintentional Quorum
Pursuant to ARS 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of Skyview School and the general public that the Skyview School Governing Board of Directors may unintentionally form a quorum during a school year. It is understood that Board Members will have no school business-related discussions, no decisions will be made, nor any actions taken.
What We Expect from Our Corporate Board
One of the most important responsibilities of Skyview School’s Board of Directors is developing a functional, cohesive, working Board to promote the educational mission and vision of Skyview School in support of the greater community. To do this, they agree:
- The Board of Directors shall always speak with one voice, one authority. Individual Board members shall always support the decisions of the Board, even if they disagre with a decision and vote against a decision at a Board meeting.
- The Board of Directors only has authority to act at a legally constituted meeting and with a quorum of members present.
- The Board of Directors shall individually refrain from providing supervision, directives, or authority on any issue to the Director or to other staff.
- The Board of Directors shall vest single-item fiscal authority to the Director for all spending of $5,000 or less. Spending above that level shall have the approval of the Board. (This does not include entering into contracts for such routine decisions as approving auditing services and annual health insurance policies, authorizing emergency repairs, etc.)
