I graduated from the University of Utah in 1995 after having first served four years in the United States Army, working as an Intelligence Analyst. I spent two of those years in Seoul Korea and two years at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. At Fort Huachuca, I was an analyst for the headquarters of Army Intelligence and sometimes worked directly for the National Security Agency. After graduating from the University of Utah, I attended Law School at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. While there, I served many positions in Student Government including President of the Student Bar Association and President of the Veterans Law Caucus, among the many other positions in Student Government. I also yacht raced and continued to ski, mountain bike, camp, and other recreational activities.
After graduating law school in 1998, I returned to Arizona to take the Arizona State Bar exam and became sworn in by the Supreme Court as an Attorney at Law. In 2001, I came to Prescott to work for Yavapai County. After a brief time working for the County, I set up private practice. I have been quoted in NEWSWEEK, USA TODAY, and been published in the Michigan State Law Review, Journal of International Law. I have also been the host of the local radio talk show “Life and Debt,” have appeared as a legal analyst on KTAZ TV and have been named as a “Top Lawyer” by the Legal Network for the years 2013, 2015 and 2016. Most lunch hours you can find me at the gym lifting weights. After growing my practice, I married my paralegal, Bree Rich, and we've been married now for 12 years. We have two children enrolled at Skyview and they absolutely love their school. I am deeply committed to helping Skyview continue to succeed and grow. |
