Skyview’s educational program is designed to meet the learning needs of children of all abilities who are motivated to learn, willing to comply with the school’s rules and standards, and able to participate successfully within the school’s challenging learning environment. Re-Enrollment
1. Returning students submit re-enrollment forms during the two-week re-enrollment period. Placements are assigned to these students.
2. Following the re-enrollment period, returning students who have not met the re-enrollment deadline are designated as new students and the open enrollment process applies to them.
Open Enrollment
1. New families attend an orientation.
2. Interested families, who believe that Skyview School is the best choice for their child and wish to be contributing members of our school community, complete and submit an application.
3. Upon receipt of the placement offer, parents accept the placement by forwarding enrollment forms and supporting documents including birth certificates and immunization records to the school within a two-week period.
4. Siblings of continuing students receive placement priority.
5. Following the two-week open enrollment period, openings are filled based upon the date of school application receipt.
6. When new applications exceed the number of openings, enrollments are awarded by lottery and all other students not enrolled at this time are placed on a waiting list. Families on the waiting list must respond within two days upon receipt of an admissions offer to secure a place for their child.
February 22, 2010 - March 5, 2010 - Re-Enrollment for currently enrolled students. Please see below for more information regarding re-enrollment.
March 29, 2010 - April 9, 2010 - Open Enrollment for new students and re-enrolled students who did not make the March 5 re-enrollment deadline.
